Dozens of wading pools open and limited lifeguard hours begin at two beaches

Saturday, May 25: Dozens of locations open, with real-time updates available at the map below
Saturday, June 15: Additional “school-site” locations open in parks adjacent to Minneapolis Public Schools properties, following the last day of classroom instruction
- Daily hours at all open locations: 10am to 9pm
- Free to use
- No lifeguards: please keep safety in mind while enjoying the wading pools
- Final day of the season is Monday, September 2 (Labor Day holiday)
- Restrooms accessible outside recreation centers available during the same hours

General Hours are 6am to 10pm daily at all 12 Minneapolis beaches
Lifeguard Services at Lake Nokomis Main Beach and Wirth Lake Beach
Preseason
Saturday-Monday May 25-27, from 1pm to 7pm
Saturday-Sunday June 1-2 and June 8-9, from 1pm to 7pm
Regular season
Saturday, June 15 to Sunday, August 18, 1pm to 7pm daily
