In the fall of 2022, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board hired the locally based, full-service market and research firm Morris Leatherman to conduct a statistically valid, random sample telephone survey of Minneapolis residents. The survey gathered residents’ opinions about multiple park services, facilities and experiences. The survey found that 86 percent of those polled rated city parks as good or excellent.
