Application: All coaches must complete an application, review Concussion Awareness and Prevention information and have a background check. (Additional training may be required for some sports).

Recreation Program and Event Opportunities

There are a variety of ways to get involved at our Recreation Centers and with events happening in the parks, citywide.

Rec Center Events Go-To Crew

We are looking for volunteers to help periodically at Recreation Center events throughout Minneapolis! Can we call you to help? Events are typically a few hours and duties could include running an activity (like a short craft project or game), monitoring a bounce house, or helping to set-up and take down decorations. The possibilities are endless and we welcome your enthusiasm and creativity. To sign up to be a part of the Go-To Crew, please fill out the application below!

Little Free Library Stewards

We are looking for volunteers to help care for and monitor the Little Free Libraries at Minneapolis Parks! The primary role of a Little Free Library Steward is to care for one (or more) of the Little Free Libraries in Minneapolis Parks so that it becomes and continues a long life as a vital, engaging resource for the neighborhood or community.
