Buskers are responsible for providing, setting up, and taking down all their own sound reinforcement, display materials, and entertainment items. Minneapolis Parks does not provide any equipment to Buskers.
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board recognizes the life, color, and interest that Street Performers or Buskers bring to a public space. In order to meet the desires of Minneapolis residents, visitors, and area business people, Minneapolis Parks will be formally permitting a variety of entertainers to perform in designated parks from 9am-9pm year round.

Busker applications are $40 annually.
FAQ
Each Busker only needs to purchase one annual permit to perform at any of the ten Minneapolis Parks Busker locations as many times throughout the season from May to October that they choose. Once an annual permit is purchased a Busker can perform as many times as they choose.
