Reduced hours begin August 21 for some pools, lifeguard services

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is reducing operating hours and lifeguard services at select locations, as summer winds down and some aquatics staff return to school.

These locations will resume regular hours for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 4, which is also the final day of swim season.

Reduced Hours: Monday, August 21 through Sunday, September 3

4 pm to 7 pm, Mondays through Fridays
1 pm to 7 pm, Saturdays and Sundays

Holiday Hours: Monday, September 4 (Labor Day)

Webber Natural Swimming Pool (closed Monday, August 21 and 28)

Note: General hours at all 12 Minneapolis beaches are 6 am to 10 pm daily, same as park hours)

Regular hours at MPRB wading pools and splash pads

10 am to 7 pm daily, through Monday September 5
