Open Daily 1 pm-7 pm
Post Season: August 24-September 7
Weekdays: 4 pm-7 pm
Weekends and Labor Day: 1 pm-7 pm
North Commons Water Park
This water park is closed in 2025 and 2026 for construction of new and renovated North Commons facilities, including a new water park. During the closure, MPRB is offering a range of summer aquatics and related activities to help local community members cool off and have fun.

Good to Know
Pool closures: Check the map for current status of water parks & pools. Closures may range from 30 minutes to several weeks, depending on the types of repairs needed. Map is updated in real time.
Youth swimming lessons offered at Lake Nokomis Main Beach, Wirth Beach, Jim Lupient Water Park and Webber Natural Swimming Pool. Parents/guardians receive email notification of lesson cancellations.

Weather-Related Information
- Swimming pools, wading pools, and water parks open when the temperature reaches 65 degrees.
- In the case of rain, swimming and wading pools remain open until the bottom of the pool is no longer visible.
- In the case of lightning, all people are required to stay out of the pool until 30 minutes after lightning has ended.
Pool Safety
- All of our pools are in compliance with current requirements.
- All pools are maintained and inspected on a daily basis, including inspection of the drain covers.
- We work directly with the City and State Departments of Health to ensure visitor safety at our pools.
