Sailboat Buoys

We annually issue permits for 380 sailboat buoys on lakes Bde Maka SkaHarriet and Nokomis.

Enrollment for buoys begins January 2, 2018 and ends April 4, 2018

Sailboat Length Recommendation: Based on the layout of the buoy grid, the MPRB recommends that sailboats stored on Minneapolis lakes be 22 feet or less. Accommodations may be made for boats under 30 feet upon request.
