MPRB parking operations manages event parking throughout the year for one-time, recurring, and ongoing events. 2018 Event parking will including automated (pay at the meter) event rates, and staffed tailgating events:
$30 Adult 62+
Second Permit (for an additional vehicle owned by a valid permit holder)
Same fee if purchased at a later date.
$15 Adult 62+
You cannot purchase a second permit to replace an expiring permit on a vehicle - renewing an expired permit is the same price as the first permit.
Issued when you return original permit and replacement fee. Expires the same month as original purchase.

Each permit is linked to a license plate number. As we transition to a license plate based validation system in 2018 (for pay lots and permits), permit holders with incomplete or incorrect license plate information may receive a citation. Permit holders are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate license plate information.
Permit valid only when affixed to inside lower right corner (passenger side) of windshield by its own adhesive.
Permit is non-transferable.
Effective 2018, there will be an interim process in place to purchase annual parking permits.
The interim system for purchasing permits will be done through our Active Communities system, the same system used for program registrations, gift card sales, and most other transactions with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board.
