The Commons

The Commons is operated by Green Minneapolis on behalf of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and City of Minneapolis. Green Minneapolis is a non-profit conservancy that raises funds to support the park’s annual budget.

New Adult Leagues

Adult Lawn Bowling League
8/21 through 9/25, 6 – 7 pm

Join the MPRB’s new recreational Lawn Bowling league in 2019. Lawn Bowling is a low impact sport for adults of all ages. Teams of four players roll balls called “bowls” towards a little white ball called a “jack” within their own designated lane. $250 per team; register at www.teamsideline.com/minneapolisparks.

  • 6-week Wednesday evening league
  • 4 people on a team

  • Lawn Bowling attire optional for an extra point (white shirt and khaki or white pants / shorts)

  • During league play there will be a MPRB Lawn Bowling host to help guests with the rules and the etiquette of Lawn Bowling

Adult Cornhole Bean Bag Toss League
