North Mississippi Pump House Re-Habilitation The Construction of a new pump house at North Mississippi pool will begin in the Summer 2020. The pool has been closed since Summer 2018 due to safety issues making in hazardous to work around it.

Background
History
The wading pool has had a reaccuring issue throughout the years. The recirculation pump for the pool has been difficult to prime and keep primed creating safety issues and making it hazardous to work around it. When the pool pump is primming it is purging the plumbing system of air to create a vacuum effect to pull water from the pool. Water is pushed through the filter and back to the return line. Allowing the pump to get enough water from the pool.
