The master plan was funded by the Parks and Trails Legacy Fund, part of the Minnesota voter-approved Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment. MPRB is now implementing $550,000-$800,000 (depending on bridge repair plans) of capital improvements based on the adopted master plan, which is also funded by the Parks and Trails Legacy Fund. The City of Minneapolis and the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District were major project partners in the master planning effort and will continue to be involved in the implementation project.
