History & Funding
The Pickle ball courts will be constructed SW of the existing tennis courts.
Downtown Service Area Master Plan was completed and Approved by MPRB in 2017.
The pickleball courts were added as an amendment to the Loring Park Master Plan in 2022.
Loring Park was allotted $250,000.00 in park dedication fund for this project. This funding will go towards staff, consultant time, community engagement, design and construction.
