Attend the Open House to check out planned improvements to the Columbia Park Regional Trail corridor and provide feedback on project priorities. Light refreshments will be provided.

Background & Funding

Background

MPRB has received funding for improvements to Columbia Parkway regional trail. Anticipated construction budget, $520K (Met Council Regional Funds + Met Council Parks and Trails Funds).

Actual improvements will be determined based on condition assessments of trail corridor (pavement, wayfinding), regulatory requirements, community input, coordination with other work, and long-range plan guidance (East of the River Long Range Plan).

MPRB has received funding for improvements to Columbia Parkway Regional Trail.

$611,000.00 in Met Council Regional Funds (2024)
$39,000.00 in Met Council Parks and Trails Funds (2024)
