At the July 10, MPRB board meeting, Superintendent Al Bangoura made a statement explaining why it is not in the best interest of either the Park Board or the public to return to negotiations before Local 363 leadership allows their members to vote on our last, best, and final offer. (Note: Local 363 leadership served MPRB with their intent to strike on June 20 2024, MPRB presented their last, best and final offer on July 1.)
Since this is a strike about wages and compensation, Superintendent Bangoura also shared a chart that shows specific City 363 positions/salaries as compared to MPRB 363 positions/salaries.
For additional information, please review the details of the offer and the financial impact of both the MPRB’s offer and Local 363’s request were shared at a special meeting on July 8.
