Programs offered as part of MPRB's ongoing partnership with the Loppet Foundation
Posted on 4 January, 2024The Trailhead (1221 Theodore Wirth Parkway) is a perfect place to relax and warm up before or after enjoying Theodore Wirth Regional Park. Open 7 days a week, it features a cafe, recreation equipment rentals and more, and serves as a base for a host of outdoor recreation opportunities.
New this winter, the Trailhead is hosting programs with MPRB naturalists from the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary (which is closed in winter). The naturalists will offer weekday programs including storytelling, guided hikes, knitting near nature and more – details below.
All programs are free and no registration is needed – just show up!
All are welcome – especially anyone who wants to experience new activities and new places in Minneapolis parks. Thanks to the Loppet Foundation, our partner in providing year-round outdoor recreation opportunities since 2017!
