Grant Shafranski is a Trackman Certified Instructor and the Owner of Grant Shafranski Golf Academy, which oversees all golf instruction at the Minneapolis city courses, and Minneapolis Director of The First Tee of the Twin Cities.  He offers lessons at all of the city courses, and is based out of Hiawatha. Out of over 1,000 nominees, he was selected Honorable Mention in the US Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Teachers in America. Grant is also one of the top PGA Professional players in Minnesota. His Trackman is the only one at a public outdoor facility in Minneapolis!

Grant believes in delivering lessons that focus on helping the student achieve their own goals and dreams rather than teaching the same swing to everyone. He believes that having fun and playing more golf are the key components to improving your game. His motto, “Learn YOUR Swing”, encourages students to explore what makes golf fun for them, rather than trying to replicate the swings seen on the PGA Tour. All lessons are tracked on Trackman, with shots and videos uploaded to myTrackman.com for students to view and track their own progress!

Off the golf course Grant enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Angela, and their 3 year-old peke-a-pom, Fluff, and taking golf trips with his dad. Grant is also an amateur home renovator of his and Angela’s first home in Andover.
