JD Rivers' garden is a host site for the Bell Museum's annual Star Party! This year we are celebrating the moon, our closest celestial neighbor. Come to JD Rivers' garden for moon related activities and crafts, as well as the opportunity to look through a telescope at the moon and stars.

Come celebrate the Moon and all things lunar for - International Observe the Moon Statewide Bell Museum Star Party at Kroening Nature Center. Join thousands of people across Minnesota to learn about lunar science and exploration, take part in celestial observations and honor cultural and personal connections to the Moon.

Mixed Precipitation Theater performs their last picnic operetta of the season, "Faust", west of the JD Rivers' Garden. The garden and produce market are open for the duration of the show and afterwards. Public event for all, no registration or fees through MPRB, suggested donation of $5 & up to Mixed Precipitation for performance viewing.
