Can’t attend? We will post an online survey by 9/30 for you to provide your input.

Mississippi Flyway Habitat Enhancement and Connectivity Pilot The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is building out a habitat corridor around 26th Avenue! Habitat corridors connect larger blocks of habitat, which helps to restore the natural landscape and promotes biodiversity. The MPRB has identified ten across the city connecting parks with a lot of existing land or water habitat. This pilot project will enhance connectivity within the Mississippi Flyway by linking urban neighborhood parks to the Mississippi River through habitat expansion within one of these corridors. Share your ideas for where habitat should go within the corridor and learn more about the project at About the Flyway. The Mississippi Flyway is a migration route that starts in Canada and then follows the Mississippi River through Minnesota and south down to Louisiana, Alabama, and Arkansas. It’s used by millions of birds each year during spring and fall migration. Learn more about flyways here.
