Upcoming CAC meetings and online surveyPosted on 11 August, 2017
The planning process to create new park plans for all the neighborhood parks north of I-394 and west of the Mississippi River continues, with two upcoming the opportunities that are open to the public.
Community Advisory Committee meeting #3
Thursday, September 7
At this CAC meeting we plan to review data on northside neighborhood parks, and also explore a level-of-service exercise thinking about activities in each park.
Community Advisory Committee (CAC) van tour
Saturday, August 26
9 am–3 pm
CAC members at our last meeting requested a van tour of major north side parks to help provide context for our NSAMP planning work. While this tour is primarily offered for CAC members, there is limited additional space in the vans for the public. If you are interested in participating, please rsvp to email@example.com to reserve a seat. If you are unable to get a seat or would like to do the tour on your own, maps of the route will be available at the start of the tour at MPRB headquarters (2117 West River Road) so you can follow along in a car or bicycle.
Additional ways to get involved
- Sign up to receive email updates by subscribing at www.minneapolisparks.org/subscribe. If you are already a subscriber, add “North Service Area Master Plan” to your subscription preferences. Email updates are the best way to stay informed about meeting dates.
- Attend other northside public meetings. MPRB and a group of committed Community Connectors have been and will continue to conduct numerous community meetings and events throughout the summer.
- You can leave comments about the project and any northside neighborhood park at this online survey.
