Trespasser injured after fall from Upper Harbor Park structure

At approximately 11:30 pm on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, Park Police responded to a call for assistance from Minneapolis Fire regarding a female juvenile that had fallen from a structure at Upper Habor Park. EMS transported the female to North Memorial Medical Center. An 18-year-old male companion was cited for trespassing and released. CN #25-332928.

This is the fourth fall with injuries in 2025. After a fall in April, the City of Minneapolis Bridge Department and Minneapolis Park Board staff welded doors shut and eliminated other access points. After a fall that occurred in late September, City of Minneapolis Bridge Department and Minneapolis Park Board staff welded doors shut further up the structure to limit access points to the structure. The structure is also surrounded with a construction fence with No Trespassing signs posted in multiple locations.
