With Todd Park’s new playground recently completed, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is moving forward with plans for additional improvements.
You can learn more about the project, see initial concepts and share your thoughts when you participate in the project survey by Oct. 31.
In partnership with Minneapolis Public Schools, the project upgrades the existing fields to include a premier fastpitch and JV softball field. The project also hopes to reimagine the courts, add new nature play features, improve viewing and gathering areas, and enhance drainage and stormwater management on site.
Visit the Todd Park improvements web page to see newly added initial concepts and previous project updates.
Thanks for your patience and support while MPRB works to improve Minneapolis parks.
Next Steps
Project staff aim to share a final concept design this fall that the MPRB Board of Commissioners will consider for approval; construction is planned for 2026 and 2027.
