The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) project Staff is bringing the preferred concept plan for Folwell Park Improvements Phase 2 to the Board for approval at the upcoming November 1st meeting. The draft preferred concept plan is a culmination of engagement with the Folwell community throughout the spring and summer 2023 where over 350 people contributed their feedback an ideas. The plans include a new all-wheel park, site and path improvements, picnicking improvements, native plantings with stormwater mitigation areas and lighting improvements. The project will also work to incorporate art into the all-wheel park design.
