While most of the park’s improvements were completed in 2021, turf grass continued to grow and establish throughout the 2022 season on the new 6,000-square-foot multi-use field.
That process was extended due to drought conditions both years. MPRB staff thank neighborhood residents for their patience during this project.
Additional park improvements include:
- New pedestrian path and litter receptacle adjacent to the fields
- Fencing along 26th Street to improve safety for park users
- Improvements to the park’s underground storm sewer
