Southwest Parks Plan Update: Draft Master Plan will be published February 14Posted on 7 February, 2020
After nearly two years of conversations, design, feedback and adjustment, draft of full plan will be shared Feb. 14
The Southwest Service Area Master Plan is almost ready! Both the complete draft plan and an online comment survey will be shared next Friday, Feb. 14, 2020. The plan will be posted online at the Southwest Parks Plan project page, and paper copies will be available at all 13 Southwest Minneapolis recreation centers, along with Parade Ice Garden and Mary Merrill Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Headquarters.
Please note the Feb. 14 publication date is a week later than the date announced at the most recent Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board of Commissioners meeting. The MPRB apologizes for any confusion.
The draft master plan document will be available for public review and comment for a minimum of 45 days after it’s published. An announcement will be sent as soon as the plan and online survey are available next Friday.
