Thank you to the hundreds of park users who took time to review and comment on the initial round of park concepts created for the Southwest Service Area Master Plan, called the Southwest Parks Plan for short. The SW Parks Plan will create new, long-term plans for all Minneapolis neighborhood park properties south of I-394 and west of I-35W.
The next Community Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting is scheduled Tuesday, April 23, 2019, 6-8 pm at Lyndale Farmstead Recreation Center, 3900 Bryant Ave. S.
During this meeting, CAC members will discuss the big questions that were uncovered during development of initial park concept designs and provide direction to the project team. All CAC meetings are open to the public and anyone interested in the refinement of these park concepts is encouraged to attend! Snacks, refreshments and children’s activities will be provided. Please contact Cindy Anderson at 612-230-6472 or email@example.com to request language or accessibility accommodations.
