Site preparation work has begun and construction will begin next week for park improvements at Stewart Park! The park will remain open for use during construction, which is expected to last about a month. The park improvements include:
• The addition of a 6,000 square foot open grassy multi-use field area to add much needed field space to the park.
• New pedestrian pathway adjacent to the fields and a litter receptacle.
• Fencing along 26th Street to enhance park user safety.
• Improvements to the underground storm sewer.
