Planned Building Improvements
Posted on 3 April, 2018Design for building improvements to the existing park building are underway. These improvements would be a continuation of approved Master Plan improvements within the park. The improvements would include replacing the existing building lighting, upgrading both restrooms, providing a new accessible bathroom, replacing the water service line and, exterior building enhancements. These building improvements would be funded through NPP20 rehabilitation dollars.
Planned improvements also include the construction of a new maintenance garage to be located on the south end of the park. The addition of a maintenance garage to store maintenance equipment is necessary in order to maintain the new athletic fields. Funding for the maintenance garage is limited and therefore may not be able to be constructed if construction bids exceed available funding.
