Painter Park improvements: Concept plans are online for review and comment!

The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB) has developed two preliminary concept plans for improvements at Painter Park. Both are based on feedback gathered from the community during the summer, as well as the park’s master plan approved last year.

The plans include:

  • a new skate park
  • gathering spaces, pathways and landscaping
  • reconstructed tennis courts (with pickleball striping) and basketball courts

The plans were shared at an online open house on October 25, and are now available online for everyone to review and share comments through a survey.

The survey is open through Wednesday, November 17.
