The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB) is pleased to announce a project to renovate Loring Park’s four tennis courts. The full renovation includes fencing, net posts and netting, color coating and striping; as well as an accessible entry path and benches.
Demolition is scheduled to begin on September 1, with construction work continuing through October.
Final color coating of the courts is planned for spring 2022, once temperatures are warm enough.
Public Impacts:
During construction, tennis players are encouraged to use nearby courts at Kenwood Park, Bassett’s Creek Park, Bryn Mawr Meadows Park or Holmes Park.
