Share your thoughts on a plan to reconstruct the Berger Fountain (Dandelion Fountain) in Loring Park!
An initial survey on the project, which may also add some new landscape elements in addition to the fountain repair, closes Friday, May 5.
After the survey closes, the design team will review all feedback received and create three design options that will be shared for more feedback this summer. Then the design team will solidify a single design and move toward construction, which is tentatively scheduled for 2024-2025.
Berger Fountain Task Force
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has an agreement in place with Berger Fountain Task Force to raise funds for the Berger Fountain reconstruction project. The Task Force is comprised of representatives from Citizens for a Loring Park Community, Friends of Loring Park, Loring Greenway and at-large representatives.
