Everyone is invited to join the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) on Friday, June 14, at 5 p.m., for a ribbon-cutting and celebration dedicated to the new playground, wading pool, and other park improvements. MPRB staff will have an information table at the Rec Center to share updates on the park’s name change.
The construction fence will partially come down on Thursday, June 13, and entirely on Friday, June 14. The playground is ready to use; the wading pool will be ready by Friday.
The bike racks and a couple of benches will be installed next month by the entryway plaza.
