About the Mississippi Flyway
Millions of birds use the nearby Mississippi River to navigate north and south during their spring and fall migrations. While they’re migrating, birds need habitat: places where they can rest and find food. That’s why MPRB is working on restoring and adding habitat for birds in North Minneapolis parks, near the Mississippi River. Learn more about at Mississippi Flyway Habitat Enhancement & Connectivity.
