This information is for your awareness only. At approximately 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, an individual jumped from the Hennepin Avenue Bridge and died upon impact with the ice below. MPRB officers assisted with the initial response. West River Parkway was temporarily closed to allow for emergency response and recovery operations and has since reopened.The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation. There is no ongoing threat to public safety.
