Update: New playground and flexible-use space
While this project is about 75% complete and construction continues, the playground’s completion has been delayed until next spring. This is due to delivery of some play equipment taking longer than expected; and recent cold temperatures that prevented installation of playground surfacing and concrete, which require specific temperatures to cure properly.
Project staff at the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) regret this delay, but look forward to celebrating the new playground in the spring. Thank you for your patience while we work to improve Minneapolis parks.
