Draft version opens for public comment

Comments on the report are welcome through Thursday, January 14, 2021.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) announces a 45-day public comment period for the new draft Cedar-Riverside Recreation Center Predesign report [PDF] recommended by the community advisory committee (CAC). The report explores options for a new recreation center in the western portion of the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.

Minneapolis community members, park users, MPRB staff and partners are encouraged to review the plan and send feedback during the comment period, which ends on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

About the Cedar-Riverside Recreation Center Predesign project

The project explores options for a new recreation center in the western portion of the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.

Note: This Predesign project is not a Design and Construction project. Additional funding will be required for design and construction of the recreation center. MPRB will use the Predesign Project Report to apply for State Bond Funds to fund a Design and Construction project.
