The Audubon Park Improvements project construction is scheduled to begin the week of July 7th.
The project will bring the following facilities and amenities to the park:
- Universal design playground with options to engage every child, and a sand play area.
- Two Ecuavolley / pickleball courts renovated from existing tennis court
- Renovation of the existing basketball court
- Upgrades to paths and lighting to improve accessibility and safety
During construction, the wading pool will be closed temporarily for three weeks due to nearby necessary concrete work. The pool closure is expected by the end of July. The pool will re-open for the remainder of the season following completion of the work. Closure of all sports courts until mid-October. The soccer field on the park’s east side will remain open.
