Construction on new playground equipment at Pearl Park rescheduled to July 25

A contractor hired by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is scheduled to begin replacing play equipment at the Pearl Park playground on Monday, July 25. Originally scheduled for July 18, the starting date was pushed back a week by the contractor.

The Pearl Park playground will remain open this week. While it is under construction throughout the summer, consider visiting nearby playgrounds at Lake Nokomis Park, McRae Park and Windom South Park. The new playground is expected to open in the fall.
