  • Restroom building that includes a storage and mechanical systems room
  • Pool fencing
  • New lighting, benches, shade structure and drinking fountain
  • Upgrades to lighting throughout the park
  • Landscaping around pool and restroom building
  • Accessible paths

Public Impacts

  • Project construction timeline is late May 2023 – Spring 2024
  • During construction, the pool area, drinking fountain and sand volleyball court will be closed (the court will be restored when the project is complete)
  • Please keep everyone safe and stay out of fenced construction areas.
  • Nearby wading pools will be available at Cleveland Park and Farview Park when the season begins; check the Pools & Splash Pads Status Map later this spring for seasonal updates on facilities throughout the Minneapolis park system
