The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is pleased to announce that construction begins this week on remaining improvements at Corcoran Park
This work follows the playground improvements completed in 2023 and includes:
- youth basketball court
- field improvements
- picnic/performance shelter
- Repaving sections of paths on the back and west side of the recreation center
Contractors will begin by installing a construction fence, tree protection, and erosion control, followed by removals and excavation next week. Path sections being repaved will be temporarily fenced.
The wading pool and playground will remain open and accessible to the public throughout construction. Please help keep everyone safe and stay out of fenced areas.
