Work is underway on installing 100+ new signs across the largest park in the Minneapolis park system
More than 100 new signs or wayfinding kiosks are being installed across Theodore Wirth Regional Park right now!
Soon visitors to the largest park in the Minneapolis park system will be greeted by large welcome kiosks with maps and park information at every parking lot and major gathering spot. In addition, new smaller signs will help guide trail users to various destinations within the park.
It will take several weeks to install all of the new signage and kiosks. No significant trail closures or detours are expected. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board appreciates the public’s patience as work progresses on this project, which will make Wirth Park more accessible to a greater variety of users.
