Following up on the project update from Fall 2024, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is pleased to share that we received favorable construction bids for this project, and contractors will begin work on improvements at Bottineau Field Park this spring – most likely in April.
To prepare for construction, existing play equipment and some site furnishings will be removed beginning Wednesday, February 5.
Toward the end of February, we’ll send another update on what to expect during construction. It will included details on park areas and amenities that will be closed, alternate locations, and park areas and amenities that will remain open throughout construction.
