The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is pleased to report that the new playground at Powderhorn Park’s southeast corner is now open to the public!.
After pausing construction for winter last year, contractors resumed work in May and completed it in June.
Some minor restoration work remains, as well as installation of a new drinking fountain near the playground later this summer.
Opening celebration to come later this summer – stay tuned for details.
