After gathering feedback from the community during the summer, the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB) has developed draft concept plans for improvements at Powderhorn Park. The draft concepts are also based the park’s approved master plan.
Please join us at either of two upcoming events at Powderhorn Recreation Center to learn more and share your feedback on the draft concepts.

Monday, October 3
Formal meeting with presentation and open house, 6 to 8pm
Powderhorn Recreation Center – inside
- Dinner provided
- 6 – 6:30pm Welcome
- 6:30 – 7pm Presentation of draft concepts by MPRB staff and design consultants
- 7 – 8pm Open house/feedback on concepts.
- Kids activities with an MPRB Naturalist!
Tuesday, October 4
Informal open house, 10am to 12 noon
Powderhorn Recreation Center – outside, if weather permits
- Light refreshments provided
- Meet and talk with the design team
- Review plans, ask questions and provide feedback
