Thanks to everyone who weighed in on upcoming improvements at Harrison Park! The project team has worked hard to review the issues and feedback the community shared. The resulting concept design incorporates that feedback to the extent possible, and is also guided by the park’s community-driven long-term plan, which was approved in 2019.

About the concept design
The concept design shows general locations for various park improvements, along with images that generally represent the types of improvements.
These include:
- Adventure playground destination, with topography that merges the two existing play areas, and features upgraded ADA access and surfacing
- Plaza with pavilion proposed near existing wading pool
- Renovated basketball court
- New sports court for basketball, pickleball, tennis, and other sports
- Upgraded multi-use field is proposed, with one backstop and ballfield remaining
- Updated paths
- Additional plantings throughout the park
