Launch will be rebuilt as project nears completion this summer
The Bde Maka Ska boat launch will close on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at 10 pm. The launch will remain closed until the pavilion reconstruction project is complete this summer.
Access to the dock and tender boats will be maintained while the launch is rebuilt and site work wraps up. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board appreciates the public’s patience during the reconstruction process.
About the Bde Maka Ska Pavilion Rebuild Project
The project will create two new buildings, including new, all-gender accessible restrooms and ample outdoor public seating to replace the building that burned down in 2019. The site will reopen to the public this summer. Please stay away from construction areas while work continues.
