When Parade Ice Garden staff arrived at the facility at 6:30 am on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, they discovered an interior alarm going off indicating an ammonia leak. Multiple vehicles from Minneapolis Fire Department arrived on scene and checked staff, who were fine. Park Police were also on the scene.
A mechanic arrived at the facility to fix the leak, and Parade Ice Garden staff opened the building later that day. Case number 26-019375.
