2018 – 2020 Continued Cattail Control in the South Bay

Amendment #2 to the Contract with AES extends the contract until July 1, 2020 to continue control of hybrid and narrow-leaved cattail in the South Bay of Loring Pond.The existing Contract balance will fund multiple management techniques to control the cattails and follow the direction of the Board Resolution 2018- 303 establishing a moratorium that prohibits the use of Glyphosate in all land and water resource management activities starting January 1, 2019.
