Background & Funding
Land for the park was acquired from a local developer in 2021 for $2.1 million, which included development of base park amenities on the site prior to transferring the land.
Funding for additional development and improvements in the park, based on MPRB’s Capital Improvement Program, includes $600,000 (2024 allocation) and $740,000 (2028 allocation).
