Background
The South Side Area Master plan was completed and approved by MPRB in 2016.
This project will re-design and construct a new playground at Pearl Park. The design for the playground will be guided by the park’s Master Plan and community engagement.
McRae Park was allotted $306,495 in CIP (Capital Improvement Project) funding for playground improvements and an additional $15,477 in Park Dedication. The total budget for McRae Park Playground and site improvements is $ 321,972. This funding will go towards staff, consultant time, community engagement, design, and construction.
