Northeast Ice Arena is closed for the remainder of the 2025-26 ice season after suffering a major mechanical failure. All ice time reservations are canceled through March 1.
The building will reopen for turf season in March. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board will take time to investigate the mechanical failure and evaluate actions necessary to reopen Northeast Ice Arena for the 2026-27 ice season.
Reservation Holders
- Ice arena management will contact all people and organizations with upcoming ice time reservations.
- If you reserved ice and already paid, you will be issued a refund.
- If you reserved ice time and have not yet paid, you will not be charged.
